Rastrac, through its relationship with Two Way Direct, has joined AT&T’s FirstNet Dealer Program. As part of its relationship with Two Way Direct, Rastrac can now sell FirstNet services to eligible current and future public safety customers.
The FirstNet mission is to deploy, operate, maintain, and improve the first high-speed, nationwide wireless broadband network dedicated to public safety. This reliable, highly secure, interoperable, and innovative public safety communications platform will bring 21st century tools to public safety agencies and first responders. Police, EMS, Firefighters and other emergency responders can give and get more information quickly, helping to make faster and better decisions for everyone.
In support of AT&T’s efforts to deliver FirstNet services to first responders and those who support them, AT&T has engaged a group of dealers and solution providers with deep knowledge of public safety. This FirstNet Dealer Program will help get this game-changing technology into the hands of public safety throughout the U.S.
FirstNet will help public safety save lives and secure communities by providing eligible subscribers priority and preemption capabilities, by enhancing situational awareness in emergencies, by offering readily available capacity during large events and by enabling reliable and secure communications, especially y when disaster strikes.
And FirstNet can meet a variety of public safety’s communications needs now, whether it’s through smart phones, laptops, CAD systems and/or mobile routers.
AT&T closely regulates which indirect sellers are approved to promote, market and co-sell FirstNet. Rastrac was selected for its focus on fleet and asset management solutions for public safety agencies.
